On October 28th and 29th, 2024, at the Lemon Tree Hotel in Sikkim. Organized by the National AIDS Control Organization (NACO) in collaboration with the Sikkim State AIDS Control Society (SACS), the workshop aimed to enhance understanding and skills for the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) implementation. Participants included representatives from all district facilities, such as ICTC, DSRC, OST, ART Centers, TI NGOs, as well as officials from Sikkim SACS, NACO IT, and State ABDM.

ABDM’s mission is to establish a comprehensive digital health infrastructure in India, intending to bridge the existing gaps within the healthcare ecosystem through integrated digital pathways. This Sikkim pilot will focus on two main areas:
1. Understanding SOCH-ABDM Implementation: Offering detailed insights into the framework and operational aspects.
2. Skill Development: Training participants in practical digital health management and data integration techniques.
The successful completion of this pilot workshop marks an essential step toward a unified digital health system in India.
